In the context of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’’ Career Convent Girl Degree College organise two events: Scientific Awareness Program and Science Festival on the occasion of National Science Day dated 28 Feb, 2022, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Vigyan Club Lucknow, U.P. The special guests Dr. Alok Krishna (Scientist, CIMAP), Dr. Arvind Mathur (Scientist, Remote Sensing Research Institute), Mr. Pankaj Prasoon (Poet), Dr. Shreyansh Mandoli (Co-Ordinator, Vigyan Bharti Institute), Mr. Amar Singh (Yoga Expert), Mr. D.B. Singh (Co-Ordinator, District Science Club), Dr. Neeraj Kumar (Program Co-Ordinator, District Science Club), Chief Development Officer graced the Occasion by their presence. The theme of program was "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Achievements of Science, on which several activities were conducted like essay writing, quiz competition, poster making and slogan writing. The students of B.A./B.Sc./B.com participated enthusiastically and displayed their knowledge of science. Appreciation certificates and trophies were given to the winners and participants. In the end, our principal inspired the students with his deep knowledge about science. Dr. Archana Srivastava (Astt. Prof. Department of Botany) hosted the event and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Smita Shukla (Astt. Prof. Department of Zoology). All the faculty members were present at the event.
